Hidden gem in Old Brooklyn neighborhood. The barista actually identified the Smiths as the name of the band playing the music overhead. As a lady who grew up, loving Morrissey, I was notably, impressed. Come for the coffee and stay for the comfy chairs and reliable Wi-Fi. Perfect place to meet for a conversation.

Cute little place for a morning or afternoon coffee. The baked goods is what I keep coming back for. And service has always been great here. Everyone is super friendly!

Metropolitan Coffee is such a cute hidden gem tucked away in Old Brooklyn. You can really tell they care about quality—everything is made from scratch, even the flavor syrups, and they use Rising Star beans. The menu has some standout breakfast options you don’t see often around here, like loaded grits (a rare Southern find in this area). The grits were absolutely amazing—definitely my new go-to breakfast craving. The blueberry cream cheese muffin totally lived up to the hype too: moist, sweet, and perfectly balanced. We also tried the seasonal strawberry mocha. The coffee itself was smooth and well-made, though the strawberry flavor was a bit subtle. The vibe is one of the best parts—lots of seating, a mix of people working and chatting, and the kind of cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. They also host yoga twice a week (Thursdays and Sundays) and fun events like game nights, which adds to the community feel. Definitely a spot worth lingering in.

Très adorable! Seriously, a hidden gem. I know I hit this place an hour before their closing time but didn't keep the staff from incredibly welcoming. I had an ice spicy mocha that was super yummy and a brownie that was exactly what my barista said it would be, over sweet but hits the spot. Don't need to say try them out but if you find yourself near them, stop by!

I really enjoyed my cinnamon dolce latte and could definitely taste that the syrups are homemade! Prices are extremely fair too. Can't wait to come back and try other flavors. The pastries and food also look excellent. The space is definitely a highlight of the cafe, they have a beautifully decorated cozy indoor seating area and picnic tables for when it's warm outside. There's plenty of free parking in their lot and on the surrounding street and they have a drive through! Great spot for friend meet-ups, laptop work, or coffee dates. I'm so excited I found this place and will definitely be back to try more goodies!
